It's been a while since I've been able to make a blog post, but I've been doing a lot in the process.
The main thing I've been doing is schoolwork. From studying for biology (pictured above), organic chamistry, comparitive literature, and history (pictured above the break), somedays I feel as if I do little else. Midterm season just ended and finals are around the corner, so I don't expect the studying to abate anytime soon.
I've been drinking a lot of tea. No, seriously, I have at least three cups a night as I stay awake, studying. I've been learning how to cook as well (that's a whole different story) and that's been very exciting. I tried to show my tea before, during, and after the vanilla caramel creamer that I use was poured in.

Recently, I've been very introspective. I live with a few girls, but most of my close friends live further (albeit in the same town). Not being able to talk to them as often has kind of been an issue, and as a result, I've spent a lot of time in my head, mulling things over. The above picture was taken during a mandatory walk through my university's arboretum during a comparative literature class.
I volunteer at my university's Women's Resource and Research Center and I was lucky enough to be assigned to the library. I basically get to live out my childhood dreams of being a librarian. I love my weekly visits there more than I could ever explain. Although the library is quite small, there's a certain coziness to it that I love.

I love history! Do you enjoy studying it? xx

Hey Elizabeth! Thanks for stopping by! I love studying history as well! It's one of my majors and I'm especially interested in Colonial America, the American Feminism movement of the 1950s, and the relationship between disease and history.
